Stephanie Iloabachie becomes queen

The Miss Kanekalon grand finale which took place on July 14th, 2018 at Landmark event center V.I., Lagos was such a remarkable experience filled with unforgettable memories as the elegant and ever smiling African beauty, Miss Stephanie Iloabachie from Port Harcourt emerged the new queen, Miss Kanekalon 2018.  Stephanie is a graduate of sociology and aspires to be a fashion designer of international standard.  

She has already applied to attend a fashion school and plans to further advance her dream in the coming years.
For this ambitious and intelligent young lady, the whole process of Miss Kanekalon 2018 was a life transforming experience. Not only did she go home with a whopping sum of three million naira, she will also receive 1.5 million naira Kanekalon financial support for the essential training and education to realize her dreams as a topnotch designer. It’s evident that we will see the bloom of the African beauty, Stephanie in the coming months as she takes center stage as Kanekalon’s foremost brand ambassador. Let us not forget that Stephanie was not the only lady with her arms full of prizes. Her stylist, Miss Bridget Chukwdozie, was gifted with the sum of seven hundred thousand naira and other eye popping gifts for her outstanding hair styling artistry. Miss Treasure Obasi, the first runner-up, and Miss Laura Mills, from Ghana, the second runner-up, were not left behind as they took home N1.5million and N1million and amazing gifts respectively.

The fabulous event kicked off at 6pm with Helen Paul and Koffi as the MCs. The glamorous event had lots of distinguished guests such as the famous fashion moguls Frank Osodi and Modela.  Also, the ever dapper Bryan Okwara, former Mr. Nigeria, graced the event with his charisma amidst other actresses, fashionistas and hair lovers.
This event could be described as the most spectacular beauty event in Nigeria as the who’s who in hair and beauty industry were all there to experience the pageant of the year!  
The event started at a high momentum and reached an exciting climax when the contestants paraded gracefully to show off their hair and style first in jeans and t-shirts followed by traditional attires and then in evening dresses as they admirably displayed their unique talents. All 20 Finalists and teaming stylists demonstrated how remarkable, hardworking, intelligent and beautiful they were, taking guests by awe.
Those in attendance also had the wonderful privilege to witness front row, the super stylish styles through the hair shows by Darling and X-pression as well as the avant-garde display arranged by the Hair Associations.  
The beautifully decorated hall was packed full with elegant guests who had lots of fun as they were gifted with exciting freebies. They also enjoyed outstanding performances by the “Woju” crooner Kizz Daniel.
The Miss Kanekalon Hair Beauty Pageant is an annual affair. So, if you missed it this year, be sure not to miss the 2019 edition.
